GiGi FM, Jay Galligan & RS Tangent

About this event

GiGi FM is a multidisciplinary artist, DJ, producer, dancer, singer-songwriter and poet whose practice moves fluidly between sound, movement and performance. From her beginnings in the underground squat raves of South London to her current home in Berlin, she has developed a genre-fluid musical language spanning techno, bass, breaks, jungle and ambient, carrying dancefloors between intensity, vulnerability and states of ecstasy. A professionally trained dancer, GiGi’s relationship with the body runs deeply through her productions and performances. Through her label Sea~rène, releases including Movimiento, Virgo Space Acid and Shelter Our Time trace an evolving sonic world, while her music has also appeared on Ostgut Ton, Fuse and On Board Music. A resident on NTS Radio since 2019, her expanding live and curatorial practice brings together electronic music, singing, poetry, dance and performance ~ continually exploring the spaces where the physical and introspective meet.
