Draft for legal review
1. Who we are
Bristol Tix is run by Bristol Tix Ltd (company details to be added on incorporation). We are not affiliated with the University of Bristol or Bristol SU.
2. Who can use Bristol Tix
You must be 18 or over and sign in with a current University of Bristol email address ending @bristol.ac.uk. One account per person.
3. What we do
Bristol Tix is a marketplace where people pass on tickets to each other. The sale of a ticket is between the seller and the buyer. When you sell, you appoint Bristol Tix as your agent to conclude the sale and receive payment on your behalf. A buyer’s payment to Bristol Tix settles what the buyer owes you.
4. Listing a ticket
- You must own the ticket, be allowed to pass it on, and not have sold or listed it anywhere else.
- Everything in your listing must be accurate, including the face value and any restrictions.
- You must not request a refund from the organiser for a ticket you have listed or sold.
- No more than 4 tickets per event. No contact details or payment arrangements in listings.
- Tell us if you are connected to the event organiser; buyers will be told.
- Football tickets and tickets for events where resale is against the law cannot be listed.
5. Buying a ticket
The price shown includes our fee, which is shown separately. Event tickets for a specific date aren’t covered by the 14-day cancellation right. If the seller doesn’t deliver, or we decide a reported problem in your favour, you get a full refund including the fee.
6. When sellers are paid
Sellers are paid on the schedule shown when they list: 24 hours after sending an in-app transfer or name change (sooner if the buyer confirms), and the morning after the event for tickets sent as a file. We may hold payment while a problem is investigated.
7. Behaviour
We may remove listings, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms, including anyone who sells a ticket twice or fails to deliver.
8. Contact
