Version 2026-09-draft
Draft for legal review
This policy is a working draft and will be finalised before payments are switched on.
What we collect
- Your university email address, and a made-up public name we generate.
- Your full name and, if you give one, the email you use on ticketing apps.
- Your listings, alerts and, later, orders and messages about them.
- Technical information needed to keep accounts secure: IP address, browser, and sign-in times.
We don’t store card or bank details; our payment provider does. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To run the marketplace you signed up to (contract).
- To prevent fraud and keep the service safe (legitimate interests).
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping transaction records.
Who sees it
Other people see your public name and listings. When you buy or sell a ticket, the other person sees your full name and delivery email so the ticket can be transferred. Our service providers (hosting, database, email and payments) process data on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account is open. Order records for 6 years for tax purposes. Security logs for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing . You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
