About BristolTix
BristolTix is a ticket resale marketplace for University of Bristol students, founded and run by four of them in Bristol, UK. Students buy and sell tickets for sold-out balls, society events and club nights from each other, with the buyer’s money held while they check the ticket and sellers paid exactly their price. It is independent and not affiliated with the University of Bristol or Bristol SU.

Why we started it
Spare tickets for Bristol’s sold-out nights change hands on Instagram stories and group chats, paid for by bank transfer to a stranger. When a ticket turns out to be fake or already sold, the money is gone.
We built BristolTix so students can pass tickets on to each other safely: everyone here is a Bristol student, every listing shows the face value, and the buyer’s money waits while they check the ticket.
Who it’s for
Students at the University of Bristol, 18 or over. You sign in with your own @bristol.ac.uk address, one account each, so you’re always dealing with another student.
We’re independent: not part of, or affiliated with, the University of Bristol or Bristol SU.
How your money stays safe
- You pay BristolTix, never a stranger’s bank account.
- A PDF or screenshot ticket is in your order the moment you pay.
- Every ticket is checked when it’s uploaded, and one already listed or sold here is turned away.
- Something wrong? Report it from your order and the money freezes while a person decides.
- If the seller doesn’t deliver, you get everything back, fee included.
- Sellers get exactly their price once the buyer’s card payment clears, usually 3 working days.

Bristol, UK. The events are Bristol’s: club nights at Thekla, Lakota, Motion and Daisy’s, student balls and society events.

Four University of Bristol students started BristolTix and run it together:
